President
Established in 1985, Hembree & Associates, Inc. is guided by the leadership and expertise of Joe R. Hembree. A real estate veteran with over 25 years experience in commercial real estate, Mr. Hembree has handled the development, sale, leasing and management of land, office buildings, shopping centers and income producing properties throughout Southwest Florida.
Joe C. Hembree
Vice-President
Joe C. Hembree is a licensed Commercial Real Estate Associate and Realtor employed by Hembree & Associates. He specializes in the sales, leasing and property management of all types of commercial properties in the greater Sarasota – Manatee area. He currently manages over a half million square feet ranging from small office buildings, to office parks to large retail centers.
Kenneth E. Hoskinson, Jr.
Commercial Associate
Kenneth E. Hoskinson, Jr., Commercial Associate, is a native of Sarasota and has been involved in all facets of the community and has extensive knowledge of properties and investors throughout southwest Florida. Mr. Hoskinson is a member of the Sarasota Association of Realtors, Commercial Investment Division, as well as the Young Professionals Group. Ken received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from University of Central Florida, specializing in Real Estate.
Steve Ross

Past President – Commercial Investment Division of the Sarasota Association of Realtors
30 year veteran of the commercial real estate brokerage scene in Sarasota, Manatee, and Venice areas. Steve is active in sales, leasing, and consulting for office, retail, and industrial properties and is frequently used by out of the area brokerages for tenant representation in locating properties for their use.
Steve also holds security licenses for the purpose of selling Tenant In Common (TIC) interest in Institutional Grade Properties throughout the United States, primarily for 1031 Exchange replacement property.
Bill Preissner

Bill Preissner – Commercial Sales Agent, comes to Hembree & Associates with over 25 years of experience in business, sales and public relations management. Bill has been with us since 2002 and is a member of the Commercial Investment Division of the Sarasota Association of Realtors.
Bob Milhoan
Commercial Associate
Bob Milhoan – Specializes in industrial properties and development land. He has over 25 years of background in marketing, advertising, and public relations in industries ranging from manufacturing, to media to real estate. Bob is a graduate of the University of South Florida. Before entering the commercial real estate business, Bob was Sr. Vice President of a firm in the Multi-family Housing industry targeting REITS and Property Management companies nationwide. His marketing experience gives Bob the skill to effectively target the marketing efforts for any property directly to the greatest audience of potential buyers.
Brad Lindberg

Brad Lindberg, Commercial Associate, understands the dynamics of a facilities location and functionality as it relates to the success of your business. As a former Sarasota business owner and managing partner in an international wholesale distribution company, he has experience in relocation, site evaluation, and financial leveraging needed to optimize your business’s investment potential. John Caragiulo

John Caragiulo, Commercial Associate, brings to Hembree & Associates over 22 years of experience in food service, hospitality and lodging based industries. Specializing in consulting, development, and site acquisition/selection, John’s experience has been sought after by both national and regional clients. John is a member of the Sarasota Board of Realtors, Commercial Investment Division, The Sarasota Downtown Partnership, both the National and Florida Restaurant Associations, and is a past Executive Board member of the Council of Independent Restaurants of America.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Dayton.
Dawn Fitzgerald

Dawn is active in leasing and selling office and retail properties in the Sarasota area. She has held a real estate license since 1994 and has worked with Hembree and Associates specializing in commercial property since 2003. She is currently a member of the Commercial Investment Division of the Sarasota Association of Realtors and is an active member of both the Sarasota and Manatee Economic Development Committees and the Sarasota Downtown Partnership.
Bruce Dilges
Commercial Associate
Following an extensive career as a commercial appraiser, Bruce Dilges entered the real estate sales field in 2004. At that time, with the residential market expanding at a frenetic pace, he specialized in the residential development sector, using his extensive knowledge of land use and development regulations to locate sites for national and regional homebuilders active in the Gulf Coast region. All good things must come to an end, and in 2007, with the residential development sector in the doldrums, he switched to a more diversified marketing approach and joined the local commercial experts at Hembree & Associates, whose reputation in the region is well-known.
While he still maintains numerous relationships with individuals active in the residential development field, “casting a bigger net” has enabled him to utilize his extensive background in real estate, while also capitalizing on the Hembree reputation and his own local knowledge as a native of Sarasota. He is recognized for his knowledge of the market, his professionalism, and his high ethical standards.
He is a graduate of The Florida State University, a State Certified General Appraiser, and a Licensed Real Estate Sales Associate.

Charles H. Parker is a 30+ year veteran of the Florida
Real Estate Industry. His career ranges from Asset and Property Management, to Leasing, Sales, and Development Services.

- Organized and Managed Don M. Casto Organization’s Florida Property Management/Leasing Division – nine properties, 1,100,000 sf.

He is managing and leasing a small portfolio of properties while actively soliciting new Property Management, Leasing, and REO Clients for Hembree & Associates.
Charles is a Certified Property Manager Candidate (CPM); and a Graduate of the University of Central Florida – 1977 & 1981. BSBA Finance, Management & Accounting.
Morris Smith
Commercial Associate
Morris Smith is a Commercial Real Estate Associate, and is an active member of the Sarasota Association of Realtors, and the Commercial Investment Division. Morris is also a member of Florida Realtor’s, and the National Association of Realtors.
Morris’ focus is commercial real estate sales, leasing, and tenant representation. He has over 30 years of experience in sales and marketing, contract preparation and negotiations with Fortune 50 companies. In addition, he has an in-depth background in leasing and property management for multifamily properties.
